Other contents: in relation to students interests specific issues will be approached inviting guest speakers.
The themes and concepts approached, allow the development of a broad view about the field of health education and the different models and theories that can support projects that promote health.
The work within this unit is organized in thematic modules. Seminars are held with guest speakers who bring their expertise and provide a broad view of the field of health education. Teaching methodologies include research, participation in seminars, planning and executing intervention projects within a specific context.
Teaching methodologies reflect the diversity of subjects and approaches within health education. Emphasis is made upon the conception and implementation of intervention projects according to specific contexts.
The final assessment includes participation in classe activities (10%), a written test (30%) and the group project work (60%).
In all classroom sessions compulsory attendance is 75%. In the tutorial sessions compulsory attendance is 90%.
